The "Columns" block is a block that divides content into several columns for better structure and visual perception. It allows you to organize information in a compact format, which facilitates the perception of multiple information. This block is used to create multiple columns on a page.
To add a block to a website page, go to the page editor. Click the "Create a new block" button and select the "Columns" block. You are offered several block options, made in different styles. Click on the appropriate block option.

Select the entire block to open the settings for this item. A toolbar opens on the right.

General settings
Block size. You can change the "height mode" of the block: automatic, full height, manual. If you choose automatic, the height of the block will match the size of the elements inside the block. Full height corresponds to the screen size of the notebook. By choosing the manual parameter, you determine the height of the block yourself. In the additional "height" line, set the value in pixels. Click on the cross to reset the settings and return to the auto - automatic height parameter.
In the "vertical alignment" line, choose a value from the list that determines the position of the elements inside the block: to the start, to the center, to the end, space between, space around.

Internal padding. You can change the spacing of the elements inside the block. This function is used when any element is close to the boundaries of the block and needs to be moved away from them.

Background. In this section, you can change the background color of the block, as well as add a background image to the block. Additional image settings are available for the background image: choosing an image, image size (choose from the list: cover, fill, fit, 50%, 100%, and other sizes), image repeat, and image position inside the block.

Container. In this section, you can change the width of the elements inside the block: automatic or full width. You can also set the background color of the container.
